Details
The Horiba XploRA plus Raman microprobe is an automated Raman spectrometer located in the Undergraduate Analytical and Instrumental Analysis Lab (Thaw Hall). It is, however, available for use by researchers with approval and training. Key features of this instrument include:
- Selection of three laser wavelengths and optics:
- 532 nm at 25 mW
- 638 nm at 24 mW
- 785 nm at 100 mW
- Automated x,y-scanning stage for mapping applications
- Automated z-stage and true confocal microscopy for depth profiling
- Horiba Syncerity Peltier cooled CCD detector for enhanced sensitivity and imaging capabilities
