In collaboration with DLAR, the Dietrich School maintains a fully certified small animal research facility with husbandry provided by our professional staff. In order to more readily meet the requirements of our program description, In July 2016, the facility transitioned to an official university cost recovery center. Providing you with the ability to efficiently advance your research while ensuring uncompromising animal care is our goal.
The Dietrich School received approval for a revised fully costed model in November 2023. Services provided directly through DLAR, including animal ordering and transport costs and sentinel processing services, among others, are NOT included. Please find our cage/tank per diem rates effective January 1, 2024, below:
