Description

The Malvern iTC200 is an isothermal titration calorimeter (ITC) used to measure the interactions of molecules in solution without requiring the introduction of spectroscopic labels. The instrument measures the small quantity of heat generated or consumed when two (or more) molecules bind to one another at a constant temperature. Most often this involves the binding of a smaller ligand to a larger receptor molecule. The binding affinity (Ka), change in enthalpy (dH), and binding stoichiometry (n) can be measured by fitting the titration data.
