Proper acknowledgment of the shared core facilities is required by US funding agencies and enables tracking of the impact of our shared core facilities and can lead to additional funding for new equipment. Acknowledgement tracking is one method used by the Office of Research to prioritize internal funding requests, and as such all SRSS facilites should be acknowledged with their respective RRID numbers.
Please note that insturmentation funded through a federal agency should also include an acknowledgement to that agency. Instruments for which this is the case have been noted on the individual facility pages. All other facilty usage may use the standard language shown below and given on the landing page of that facility.
