On Thursday June 9th, 2016, the department of Chemistry and Shared Research Support services hosted the Workshop for NMR of Small Molecules.   Planned and organized by Research Professor of Chemistry and SRSS NMR Facility Director Damodaran Achery, the workshop was the first of its kind in the region.  The speakers from seven organizations including Pitt, Bruker, and the FDA gave talks to show the more than thirty attendees tips and tricks to get the most out of their spectrometers.   The workshop was geared toward regional colleges and universities who might not have the technical expertise available at Pitt and twelve different institutions were represented in the group.  The workshop would not have been possible without the support of Dean Copper of the Dietrich School and the efforts of the Chemistry Department staff.
