The HeraCell CO₂ incubators provide a constant humidity, temperature, and CO₂ environment for the growth of eukaryotic cell cultures and tissue explants. One incubator is limited to cell culture and one to explant culture. The environments inside the incubators can be altered to induce hypoxia and ischemia. Both incubators are located in a secure BSL2 laboratory.
